What does it mean to be you?

How we show up in our relationships - and what we are able to offer those we are in relationships with - is closely tied to what we believe about ourselves. We all desire friendships that are life-giving, authentic and where there is a strong sense of honor, support and loyalty. God wants us to flourish, not only in our relationship with Him, but also in relationships with other women.

Embracing this truth has a lot to do with how we answer this question: Do I believe I am worthy of love?

The (Be) You small group curriculum provides a roadmap for understanding a Biblical view of friendship, identifying the obstacles to creating healthy relationships, and ultimately, finding freedom to love and be loved well.

We are so excited for you and for how you will see God move through your commitment to this small group.

We pray regularly for women who have or will be part of the (Be) You study, and we are so excited for you to jump in!

  • "(Be) You helps women learn how to navigate friendships. In the church, sometimes we don't do a great job of lifting each other up, and this Bible study really teaches women how to connect, to pray for each other, and encourage each other. When we're able to be vulnerable in a safe environment, it changes everything and opens the floodgates for God to come in and heal us. "

  • "It can be hard to connect with other women or keep friendships due to past hurt or wondering whether it’s safe to be vulnerable. (Be) You helped me to get a Biblical view of God’s intent for our friendships, and learn what it means to be a good friend. Seeing the heart and intention of the other women in my group as we’ve gone through (Be) You together inspired me to be confident and authentic in my friendships. I think that’s what we all long for as women."

  • "The (Be) You small group study pulls out the gold stored up in the recesses of the heart. The greatest gift you can give to someone is your authentic self. (Be) You walks you through what it means to be yourself no matter what community of women you’re spending time with. No one is meant to be alone. Everyone has a gift and everyone has something to offer. When we are able to align ourselves with how Jesus sees us and loves us, we are able to love others the same way"

  • "When you're coming from Alabama to Orange County, things look a little bit different. Coming into this environment you get the pretty girls and the pretty hair and the nice clothes and me asking myself, ‘Do I belong here? (Be) You was the perfect curriculum to create a small group environment where it was clear that no matter where we come from, we’re all His daughters. We're loved. We don't have to judge one another. I loved being part of this study and knowing that I'm not judged, and that I belong because I'm His daughter."
